I was anxiously waiting to hear that today the 20th aniversary of the lion king dsf would have a surprise release. So disapointed to not have any pin come out today
 
Yep, May 29.

I'm disappointed that it wasn't released yesterday on the official anniversary, but they might be waiting until the wide release date of the 24th?
 
As soon as i saw the Mulan fathers day pin, i think i had given up hope. Seeing as how the actual anniversary fell on fathers day, i figured, "hey! Lion king...fathers day....mufasa...simba...perfect!!". Plus with Disneyland getting an actual anniversary pin, maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Here's hoping for a huge surprise release during the week tho (or at least a new ptd)
 
You never know, the Daisy surprise pin just came out and there are quite a few of them knocking around for trade/sale.
 
Lion King is very popular, I wouldn't be surprised if the pin becomes hard to find after its initial release... that is if there is a release. I would have thought that there will be a pin for the anniversary, especially as its the 20th.
 
I think they will release one but at a later date don't forget we in the uk got our up 5th anniversary pin weeks before soda fountain store did and the same with our lion king 20th anniversary fingers crossed that you manage to get one when it finally comes out x
 
She's technically a queen. But Kiara is a princess.

Unfortunately, Disney doesn't recognize either of them as such. Same with Faline, or Maid Marian, or any of the animal characters.
