Hi everyone! I unfortunately was tapped out on funds in november when the frozen dolls were released, and unable to purchase them. Now the prices are insane on ebay and even people who have them on facebook. I'm hoping to find the two doll set together as they were the only two I missed, I am a true collector and its very disapointing! Currently I can't afford more than maybe 250 per doll 500 or so for the set. I work freelance and it's been slow since mid december so funds currently are limited. But it could pick in the next few weeks so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed! Thanks for your help in advance!

I have to join your team then, i need the Snow Queen dress version of Elsa. Please contact me if anyone is looking to sell for a reasonable price.

I am also looking for the Elsa, but there are no reasonably priced ones around it seems unfortunately.
I am hoping to get one of the coronation ones when she comes out, to trade for the other.... but that probably wont work either.

Good luck to everyone.

I agree and the stupid thing is that people go after all of it and buy them for a ridiculously high price. (eBay, amazon etc).

I have Sq Elsa and it is a beautiful doll! I wish you luck in your search! I know how you all feel, as I want Snow White and she goes for even higher ridiculous prices

It's all about supply and demand. If some people are willing to pay 850 dollars for Elsa (which is the most recent price), then sellers will set that price, unfortunately. A lot of people desperately want this doll, but can't afford to pay 8 times her retail price, and many of them ask people to sell them at reasonable prices - and I truly understand this wish, but to be honest, I don't think it's going to happen.
Most doll collectors would love to help each other out, but it's also about profit. If you can sell your doll for 850 dollars, then there's no use in selling it for 400 dollars to a fellow collector. Of course it's a good deed and truly makes another person happy, but you lose out on a doll which now has required a grail status and you can't even buy some of the less popular dolls from the profit.

I do truly hope people are able to get these dolls, but there's so few of them and so many people truly want them (half of the requests on disney groups are for these dolls).
I wish everyone the best in their search for a truly good person, because getting these dolls for a reasonable price, requires a saint to sell them. That or... a yard sale by unknowing people. So keep looking.

I'm thinking of "giving up" on SQ Elsa. I can never afford her selling price, I have to be realistic. I'm a full time student and I can't justify giving the high amounts she sells for now. She's seriously super pretty, but I have to face the facts.

Good luck though, to everyone who wants her. I'll be sure to look out for her.

Yeah, I think unfortunately I have to wait for now, the price has gone so high on these its crazy.

I do think the value of these dolls will go down in the future anyway, unlike the disney classic princesses like Snow White and Aurora. Might just have to wait a long time. Prices now are ridiculous though.

I think personally I would prefer a designer version of Elsa anyway.... the 17inches are pretty big and I prefer the faces on designer ones. But let's see!

Well, Alice hasn't come down and she isn't even a princess. Yes, she is LE 500, Elsa is LE2500. More and more collectors are buying to keep. So they are becoming more scarce. But good luck everyone!

The same is true for pins and every other collectible. It's a rare person that'll sell for cheaper when others have gotten more money. It's also a worry for some collectors/sellers. If they're nice enough to sell it for cost (or 2x cost), what would prevent the buyer from re-selling it for 8-10 times as much? So, the only hope is for the market to calm down and the prices to get reasonable.

i wish all you girls still looking for elsa luck!!!
my boy friend got me one for $600 after i loved the film so much and at the time i didn't know whether i liked him paying so much on ebay but if i look at the prices now which seriously go up to $900 and more ... it's crazy ): i really hope you'll find one for a much more reasonable price!!!

Hey guys, don´t give up! recently one very nice guy on another Forum has sold his LE Snow Queen for 100 Euro to a collector (sadly I was too late) and I found 2 weeks ago the LE Snow Queen on ebay for 250 Euro and bought her, she didn´t come with her original box but was in mint condition and very beautiful. So there still is a chance for you to get her at a reasonable price! Good luck!!!

Ooohh are you gonna repaint her?! I was hoping to see you repaint an LE one!
