The new open edition, Walt Disney World® Passholder Exclusive pin is starting to arrive in locations. The pin is attached to a small card that measures 4-inches wide x 4.75-inches tall. The pin features Mickey Mouse in a star. The remaining limited edition pins will be released throughout the year. The first one will be released tomorrow, January 19 and features Stitch. It is a hinged pin that has an edition size of 3,500.
In other news, we have an update about the upcoming Disney Trading Night that will be held on January 27 at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This free activity will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Fantasia Ballroom G.
We will be releasing a specially designed Pin Trading Night pin that evening. This hinged pin features Sorcerer Mickey in a stylized pin trading logo. The pin has an edition size of 500 and a retail of $15.95. Disney Design Group Artist Mike Sullivan created the artwork for this pin.
Mike will be attending this event from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to meet with fans and sign pins. He also created the artwork for the recently released Walt Disney World® Attraction Poster series. The first pin in that series featured the Walt Disney World® Railroad as seen below.
The pin team will also have a sneak preview of upcoming pins that evening. We hope to see you there.
