Canada Post has warned major customers that a disruption could happen as early as July 2, accusing the union of preparing to strike.
"The union is currently conducting strike votes across the country, and we are getting prepared in the event that the employer does decide to lock us out," CUPW rep says.

Canada Post has issued a lockout notice to the union. If they don't take a deal by this Thursday, they won't be allowed to work on Friday.

If you've been planning on sending anything to Canada, it's best to hold off until this situation is resolved.
