When I was on vacation this past winter in Walt Disney World, I traded a cast member for a gray Oh Mickey pin that I thought might have been a completer or something. It was rainy and I guess I didn't notice it was the same expression as this pin except it's dark gray around the rim instead of dark blue. After looking for it online, I realized it probably isn't legit. Anyways, it looks almost exactly like the dark blue version except the coloring. It is a little thinner than one of the other pins BUT, it does have the mickey mouse backing and the little stamp on the back that says "authentic disney collectible". It all seems to be in order except for the color. It does look kinda ding-ed up and scratched around the edges but mostly the way that someone didn't take care of it well. Any thoughts? I'm pretty sure it isn't "legit" but I'd like to know if its a scrapper or a counterfeit. Please help!

Thanks,
Sephri

Not sure, it would be better if you took a picture of the front & back of your pins. It's hard to "judge" authenticity without seeing a picture or seeing it in person.

Most if not all of this set have been counterfeited. The ones I have seen have the edge on the back of them though. I have not seen a "grey" one.

yea a picture would be helpful, if you hold the pin up to a light and look for paint strokes those mickeys are easy to tell, also look for paint on the edges like if you were to roll it on a desk like you would a quarter... look for paint leaking over there, also look at the edges for metal lines. there are so many counterfeits of this pin it's not even funny.
