Online trading - how do you initiate your trades?

I've initiated all my trades through pinpics so far. I've had great experiences, but it seems like you have to carpet bomb everyone on the site in order to get a few responses, let alone a yes. Not complaining, just wondering what other routes people here use.


I'm not able to use the trading forum yet, do people have a food amount of success there?


What other ways do trade online?

This thread helps with pointers for a bit higher success/response rate.... not gaurenteed of course, but it does help.

That being said, Since writing that up, i have backed off from pinpics trading. not because it doesnt work, it does work! but because I got soooo many great trades through DPF that my trade book is down to 46 pins and my keeper book is 3/4 full! hard to blanket bomb trade requests when you have so little option for the people who have pins you want.

Now, i do almost all my trading here, via discussion, trade threads, chat and auction house. Chat room is excellent for me. It's how i got to be a bit more known around here. It is also a great way to get to know more folks here on DPF.
