Hi everyone, I normally buy everything from the UK website and hold out for everything else until I go to WDW once a year. But there's some things on the USA site that I really want to get :sad: as I'm not visiting until 2015 now. Does anyone do this on a fairly regular basis? How long does it normally take to arrive and can you track it? Is it packaged well? Are customs and VAT terrible? I'd really appreciate any advice thankyou.
 
Packaging is fine but Shipping grossly over priced, custom feess will be A LOT!
If you can find someone here to order for you and send it on basic snail mail its a lot lot cheaper.
 
I order all the time. Good : Everything comes UPS and its all tracked. It usually only takes a few days when you get the email saying your order is on its way. Bad: shipping is expensive but it depends on your order. The more you order the more it goes up. And for duty and taxes you can be charged from £14 and upwards and I have been charged each time! UPS also puts a handling fee on top for paying the duty and taxes on your behalf. Hope this helps you a little
 
Thanks very much for your help :wavey: I really want one of those BIG BATB figurines they have in the park, missed out once before and then this year they were sold out only to see them come back in stock a couple of days ago on the website. The website quoted $76 for shipping which I didn't think was too bad as it's a big heavy item. I am expecting maybe £40 on top for customs....
 
I don't think it would be more than that as I've spent over $200 and I got charged about £40. Glad you mentioned the figurine as I saw thatbatvwalt Disney world last year and I wanted one
 
It's so pretty I've wanted it for ages! Actually flew with Virgin this year and purchased extra luggage and then someone bought the last one right in front of me at World of Disney and then I found it was sold out everywhere :cry:...they had an Ariel one a while back too which I never got...can't even THINK about that... Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it!
