I'm on the phone with DS customer service. I'm not sure she knows what she's talking about. The only concrete information I've been able to discern is that the EARLIEST date the boxes will ship is October 22. That conversation made me dizzy. I need a cup of coffee.
Geez that was terrible customer service.
To be fair, it's not the CM's fault. She can only pass on information she has been provided with, and if they haven't provided any information the CMs can only do their best to placate guests.

I received the same cancellation email. I ordered the month by month subscription as I plan on cancelling in the next month or so. Last week I got a another confirmation it was about to ship and they created a related $0 order in my order history, then this morning I get the cancellation and find yet another $0 order created. The email stated I wouldn't be charged, but I was also charged when I ordered. I'm thinking this is a mistake. I sent an email, but based on past experience I'm not expecting a correct response. I think I'm cancelling before next month is due to ship and charge. I'm just waiting for this one to sort itself out. I did these because it's so hard to LE pins and was hoping for a Christmas theme, but I think I'm over it.

When I logged in to my DS account and reviewed the account history it showed two orders placed for the Park Pack. Both showed a $0.00 charge. When I checked the order status for each, one was open with this message, "Placed: 10/17/2015 06:10:41 AM PDT Sorry, we're unable to obtain the current status of your order right now. The information below might not includes recent updates. Please try again later. Or, you can contact Guest Services for assistance. " The other order number showed an order status of "closed."
When I asked the DS CM to please clarify, she said that the open order wasn't really an order and that the closed order was the real order. I asked why it showed closed and she said that meant it had shipped. I replied that I had not received an email with shipping information and a tracking number and that's when she said it hadn't shipped yet. I asked her why the order status showed closed, and she said a "closed" order status means the order has been shipped. The conversation made my head hurt. The only useful information I was able to get out of the conversation was that October 22 is the earliest date PP boxes will be shipped.
I get the impression the DS is not prepared for a subscription service. I am very curious about the orders that appear to be canceled. Did you guys order the monthly subscription or the annual? My credit card was also charged October 1.
supervisor is looking into it for me. My guess- either pins didn't arrive, or quality was substandard...will be hearing back soon, I hope. I really feel for the supervisors as they are going to get a lot of calls Especially since the "unavailable" email from this AM says our credit cards were not charged. That is B+++S*** b/c mine was charged on Oct 1 and posted on Oct 2!! Bah!
I actually did both a "single box" and later a subscription...I know, its one per customer, but I wanted to subscribe, and did so later. both orders charged to CC on DAY of PURCHASE, and both got the unavailable email this AM :-(
Looks like it was a mistake based on an email response I received. The original response they sent me earlier today indicated it'd 24 to 48 hours for them to research and respond, but I'm guessing they're fielding a lot of inquiries. Below is the most recent email they sent a couple of hours ago:
