Maybe this comes with doing this Trading thing for a long time but PATIENCE definitely is a virtue in this hobby. I have been trying to get 3 Chasers from the "13" Reflections of Evil Event" for almost 2 years now. I make offers and they are declined - no big deal.

Finally I was able to make a multi-pin Trade and all 3 of the Chasers were included. I am happy, my Trading partner is happy, and its a win/win all around.

PATIENCE is something we all need in this "I need it now world" and it does pay off in the end!

Congrats on getting your pins!

I keep trying to tell myself this with the rest of the Inside Out pins I'm missing. It's why I haven't caved and purchased the Bing Bong flowers on ebay.

Yeah definitely what i'm thinking !!! everything is going to come sooner or later whatever... just have to be patient ;) Congratulations for getting those chasers!

That is a great reminder! As a "newbie" I don't get a lot of replies when I ask people for trades, I have to remember that it might just take time to find the right person at the right time.

Congrats on the pins! I guess Aristotle was right,
"Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet."

Firstly, congratulations on finally getting the pins you were after! :) Secondly, thank you for providing a positive reminder about the virtue of patience. :) Admittedly I have on occasion succumbed to impatience (much to my own annoyance) so it's nice to find these reassuring stories on the site. :)

Oh, yes! I've been collecting Club 33 pins since 1986--almost 30 years. I still don't have all of them with the old logo. Even determining them all is difficult, since they're fairly rare (except for the common lapel pin) and pinpics may be missing some.

And I'm definitely going to have to start selling on eBay. I have A LOT to get rid of. The early BTs I have? I'd trade one for a couple of very specific Club 33 pins.

Hey Mike, CONGRATS on getting your Evil 13 Event chasers!!! Hope your Patience continues to pay off in getting your other Wants!! TTFN, Sue

Congrats on your trade. 2 years isn't too bad of a wait.

It took me 12 years to get some of my grails (jail scenes, wet paint, inaugural, ect)... the best part, I bought most of them for $1 or $2!!! So, you're absolutely right, patience is a virtue in this hobby and well worth the wait!!!!

Again, congrats, it's a great feeling to get pins you really want and have been waiting for.

Congrats! I was recently rewarded as well: I started pin trading in 2005, and ever since the beginning I have wanted Pin 60533 WDI - Haunted Mansion Sign - Le Bat en Rouge. For years it wasn't available for less than $80, and I stopped looking for a long time. Lo and behold, last week I found a BIN on eBay for $25! I received it in the mail yesterday, and it's at home with the rest of my HM collection now. :)
