Hey, guys!

Quick question for those who buy Acme pins from Hot Arts (or anyone who uses Paypal more frequently than we do)...

We got an e-mail invoice from them, but for some reason, the invoice isn't showing up on my actual Paypal page. So now I'm paranoid about doing it through the e-mail. Is this something that just happens occasionally with Paypal and invoices that contact you through e-mail? Or should I be concerned enough to contact them?

Thanks!
Nicole

Meh. The link seemed legit enough, so I just went ahead and paid. I just thought it was weird that the invoice wasn't in my pending section on Paypal. I guess this can be deleted, unless someone has some helpful knowledge for someone...haha.

no helpful knowledge, but have been wondering how does one buy pins from Acme? what's the web address?

I'm not too sure. This was a special situation- I was at the event a while ago (where they released BB-8 and Boba Fett), and there was a RSP situation for the upcoming ones I just paid for. Apparently, it took them a while to finish them up!

So I didn't order from the site, I just had an order already placed. I think there's a subscription service, but I'm really the wrong person to give any sort of info about these pins or ordering them! Someone else can probably help with that!

Those in the US cannot order directly from the ACME website (must have an Asian shipping address to be able to check out).

People in the US and Europe have subscriptions where they are required to purchase every single pin that comes out from ACME at a cost of $125 + shipping per pin. "Pre-orders" occur monthly but the pins don't come out for several months after the concept art is shown.

I know it was explained somewhere, let me go look for the post.

Thanks Starry for the information. They make such beautiful pins at Acme. I may have to try to upgrade my traders and see if I can trade for any (stop laughing:wiggle

You're welcome. There are so many people selling that a lot of them can be bought for cost or slightly above cost ($150). Just check out the various ACME Facebook groups.
