I know PoDM's are so passé now in the year 2014, but does anyone know the name of the website that has all the frames available? I remember seeing it a year or so ago, but I can't seem to find it now. I tried searching the forums, but there are 750+ threads in the Pin Discussion forum alone with PoDM in the thread title and, I'll be honest, am feeling too lazy to go through them all. I'm thinking of trying to upgrade a few of my frames and would be interested to see what's out there.

I remember a site awhile back on pintalk.com, and I think it was managed by Erica Rudolf.

About a year or two ago, she wrote and published a book including these pictures. I went searching through pinpics, but most of the PODM stuff linked to Erica is for members only, so I can't see it. I wouldn't be surprised if pinpics removed these images, so that you will have to buy the book to see them. (If I were selling the book, that's what *I* would do!).

I hope this helps.

That's a great site but there seems to be several missing scenes. I believe I sent her a few shots of pins that I purchased over a year ago but they are not up there. Still a great tool for anyone that is interested in PODM's.

Thanks!

OMG I want the Mulan one of Li Shang firing three arrows! Haven't seen that one before. My Mulan grail scenes are still Mulan with Khan as they walk back to the stable, and Mulan with Chien Po, Ling, and Yao behind her.

Goofy Moe also used to maintain some sort of database, but he hasn't been around for so long, I don't know if his site is still active/accessible.

Question, as I am just getting interested in PODMs... I saw that they are LE 2000, correct? Are all of the cells from one reel (meaning 2000 unique cells per pin) or are they from multiple reels, so there could be ~20 of the same cell available? Sometimes I find a cell that I really like on eBay for a high price and I wonder if it's really unique, or if there will be more that show up later and I should wait for it to be lower priced.

And yes, man, I've been LOOKING for a compilation of all the cells available! Even if it's not complete, I love the thread that was linked! Thank you!

Funny you asked that, as I just about to ask the same thing... Has anyone ever seen even 2 of the _exact_ same frame (not scene, but literally the same shot)?

I don't think they are from the same reel necessarily (but they could be), but I'd be willing to bet they are all from one print of the movie. After all, 2000 frames isn't even 2 minutes of the film. My guess is every frame of each scene that's been found has been used. So if you see one frame, and then a frame that's 30 frames later in that same scene, I'd bet all 30 of those in between are used in the pins... There just wouldn't be a need for them to use multiple copies of a print when more than enough could be taken from just one copy of the film...
