Piece of Disney movies.... questions

background info- I haven't bought any LE pins at this point, didn't even know these Piece of Disney Movies pins existed a week ago.

Regarding the Piece of Disney movies pins-
It seems like I have seen dozens of different scenes for a single movie posted on this site (Tangled for example)
I notice that pic pics says that there were 2000 made for the Tangled pin but it only shows one scene.

So my questions are...

1) Is there a site that lists all possible scenes for a movie?
If I understand correctly each clip is a different frame from the movie but many are nearly identical.
2) How many of each scene are made (2000 per scene or 2000 for all scenes combined)?
3) Were these sold 1000 at each location on a given day?
4) Are there any being produced this year, if so do we know what is still to come?

Good questions! I've been curious about some of this myself. I do know that:

1. You can find a PODM library here. http://www.pintalk.com/showthread.php?5236-The-PODM-Library This is the only one I know of, if anybody knows of another please post!
2. From my understanding there are two of each scene (2000 pins for all scenes combined)

... and unfortunately that is all the PODM knowledge I have.

Distribution was between WDW and DLR from January of 2011 through December of 2012. The release was usually the third Thursday of every month so a total of 24 PODM's were released in the two year time span. They are no longer making PODM's.

They r not doing them this year...but rumor has it maybe 2014 or 2015..
When i went to disneyland to buy mine...dlr always seems to get less pins then wdw..
But i rember people saying...wdw got 1300...dlr got 700 pins..
It was different everytime..


These pins are amazing!! U can look on ebay and find out alot more about rareity

By the prices..for the diffrent cells..some r worth over $500..some are worth $40....
Thats why these pins r great!

I will take a $40 pin please... lol. There are a few I would love to get but going down that road could be a very slippery slope.

I guess question 5 is-
Are there known fakes of these pins? I am sure faking the pin part would be just as easy as any other pin but what about the scene?

Okay heres how the fakes i know of works ....
The pin it self hasnt been faked...but i know someone has cut the cell out..
And then on ebay got a way cooler cell ( one no one had ever seen in a year..since it came out)

Then replaced a $40 one to a priceless one of a kind...lame..


But usually it very hard to do and iv only herd of this happening one tine..
So i wouldnt be worried about fakes...
And podm key: trade trade trade...people seem to like to trade podms for now..get them whail u can!

Also quite a few were damaged...when they were new at dlr

Keep ur eyes open for bubbles..and scratches in the film cell..
Some people dont mind....i dis like it!

One reason I ask is I see two toy story PODMs on ebay right now that look identical. One picture is a little blurry but I thought each got a different frame from the movie.

No the common ones there r alot of..such as for ariel..the close up of her face..there r alot of that one..
The library shows u all the different ones they made from the movies..
All the 2000 pins in each should match up perfect to the library.

I believe starry_solo knows alot about the different scene distribution numbers, maybe she can help you out . Well, I know she at least knows the Mulan one!
