Pin 65827: DS.com - Jack O'Lantern Series World of Disney Pin Set (Cheshire Cat)
So last week, on a whim, I bought this pin, when it popped up for BIN 9.95. At the time I looked, I could only find one other one for sale, but now that it showed up today, I've found that several more have been sold by the same seller. And that seller is a known counterfeit seller, and then another known counterfeiter has one for sale too. I figured it was cheap enough, that I could "take one for the team." And pending investigation, we could add it to the list, since there is no counterfeit/scrapper warning on Pinpics for this pin, nor any comments.
The pin looks really good, good colors, smooth, glossy surface, no dips. I'd think it was a good pin, if it wasn't for one distinguishing feature. It has a black metal base. The listing for this set on Pinpics says it should be a gold finish.
Can someone confirm that the actual pin has a gold back?
The only other thing that looks different, is I think the green in the vine and leaves is maybe darker than it should be, but I've never seen the real one in person.
