Pin and Pop - Virtual Trade Events

I'm so excited for this event. Still wishing P&P divided the rooms into hidden mickey, open edition, and LE pins to make searching easier, but regardless it will be fun sifting through the pin pages to see if there is anything that catches my interest.

I have pulled all of my tabled pins. Also did a relatively complete check of my other listed traders. Its as close to perfect as it can be for a fun hobby.

My spare room becomes a mess because I lay just about everything out.

Unfortunately they don’t offer multi trades are far as I know. As of now it’s 1-1

My understanding of the multiples is they are saying “any one of these”.

It’s a shame you can’t do actual multiples as that would probably result in more trades, especially of high end pins. Maybe they’ll change that at some point. Although I guess it would require some coding updates.

They know it's something we want, just didn't have time to make it work before this event. I would TOTALLY offer multiple pins for the higher end pins. Esp since I don't have a ton of high end pins among my own traders, so as of now I really have no hope of getting something more than rare.

Oh one more question! When I go to a pin to make an offer, a blurb is included with what that person collects/likes. How do I add that to my account?

I've done that before, a couple of times. Haha! Once I got both pins and used one as a trader, but the other time I cancelled one of the trades once the pin had been verified.

There should be a box on your "home" screen that lets you select 3 themes. To get more than that, you have to have a paid monthly subscription via Patreon.

Interesting event. I wound up getting 8 trades but only one of which was from my own board. There were three pins on other boards from my ISO and I wound up winning them all, though one was after about six rebids after being declined multiple times. A few trades were just to switch up my traders.

I think next time I’m going to just participate without a board.

This was my experience with a board too! Cheaper just to be a trader tbh

Thanks for ya'lls help, I appreciate it! I have 8 trades not including the cancelled one, and all but 2 are for my collection! I'm pretty happy with my first experience. I'm ok with having paid for a table, but until offering/accepting multiple pins is incorporated(which Jenn says IS coming!), I'll probably just post lower end pins and not grails since I wasn't really offered anything comparable to the grails I posted. It's ok though, it was a great learning experience!

Yeah the one pin from my board I accepted a trade for was a Disney Movie Club pin. I got the most bids on my higher end pins (Coco cuties, Phillipe stamp) but with only being able to accept one pin I had to decline all of the offers since none really were the same value 1-to-1.

I made 11 or 12 trades with my boarded pins. There were five trades (of the 11 or 12) which were amazing that I would not have made with out having the board, so I might do a board again next time. But my goal was to tempt offers on closer to 20-25 of my pins, so that was a disappointment.

Same, I had to decline a ton of offers simply because while I would have accepted multiple pins that the person offered, nothing was a fair 1-to-1 trade. But I had a nice conversation with Jenn through email, and the multiple pin thing IS in the works, plus they're now going to try and find a way to include what scene a PODM is when sending/looking at offers. So that's really neat! She seems very sweet and very open to ideas!

So far I have had 12 offers accepted. 7 for my collections and 5 trader refreshers. The bulk of them were offers I made in the last half hour of the event. Crossing my fingers that I still have a shot at more of my ISOs from offers at the beginning of the event.

I am at a stand still. I made an offer on a pin. Has not been accepted or rejected. Had the same pin offered to me on my table. Not accepting it until I know if I have won or lost the other one.
