Hello,

I used to be a pin collector between 1997-2002. I have my collection that I will be selling soon need advice on how to go about it, where to post pictures and how to estimate if they are worth anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!~

Provided you meet the number of posts requirement you can start a thread in the sales portion here on DPF . For prices you could try searching completed items on eBay . Be sure to include PinPics numbers , some folks search for these , and pictures of the actual pins rather than stock images tend to fare better .
If you have a PinPics account I'd be happy to take a look :)

They're free to set up , here's a link to the site
http://www.pinpics.com/indexMT.php
You can then search for specific pins you have and add them to your profile .
If it's any help I'd be happy to look through any images you have and help you identify your pins .
Since you're looking to sell there are some people who buy whole collections , I'm sorry but I don't have any further details as I've not had a reason to look for their services . Perhaps a Google search could help here .

Seconded! You can also head over to DPF's sales forum to see how other people have listed their sale items if you think you might take a gander here. (Some people take individual photos, others take group photos, etc.) Many sales threads have the pin pics ID of the pin listed next to the pin for easy searching, so it's also helpful to include them if you're selling here. (But you don't have to include it if you choose to sell on eBay.)

Ok, I have created a pinpics account, name is GeoWen02. Hopefully I created it correctly and hopefully when I reach the post requirement I will be able to sell them...:)
