Hi,

How long does it usually take for people to respond to trade requests on pinpics?

Also how do I trade on here... it won't let me post in the trade area.

The key here is IF they respond at all. I rarely get responses, even "No thanks" is rare.

I know exactly how you feel! I get a bit annoyed with it, if you're on pinpics with a traders list why would you not want to trade if there is a match!? Straaaange people!!

I can understand it if it's like, your only match is a hidden mickey for a LE100 or whatever. But I always offer decent pins, often more than one.

The first thing you will want to do is link your Pinpics ID to your profile. See the "Match to trades" and "Match to wants" links under other people's names? Go into your profile and put in your PPID so that your account will be linked here as well. It makes it a lot easier for people to see what you have and what you are looking for.

As far as posting in the trade forum, I'm not sure why you can't. Try again and if it still doesn't work contact a mod about it.

In one of the threads this morning, the site administrator mentioned that he bumped the "minimum posts" from 0 to 30 for the Marketplace forums to discourage people who are just coming here to sell. When you reach 30 posts, you can start a trade thread in the trade forum. Otherwise, you can PM people if there are matches via the Pinpics links under the UserID's.
