Pin pics unconventional trade etiquette

I see a lot of non pin items/ sets marked for trade on pin pics, but they never have items of the same nature on their wanted list. How do you guys approach a trade for a pin bag or a set of pins like that?

Depends. Many people would trade pin bags or lanyards, etc. for multiple pins if they felt the value was equal and/or they were pins that they really wanted. You could try selecting the item(s) you have as a match from their wish list, then before you hit submit, put a note in the box below the pin selection stating that you would trade multiples and/or asking them to look at your traders.

This is the easiest way.

The other way you could do it would be to find the members who have what you are looking for and send them a pm through the site telling them what you are interested in and what you would be willing to trade for it or have them look at your traders and have them tell you what they would like.
