How much would you spend on a pin? I saw a Disney auction pin I like but not a grail pin. I don't know what is a good price to pay.

Are there any listed when you search for previously sold ones? Sometimes that can be a good guideline for what a particular pin usually goes for, but not always if it's rare. I'd look at previous sales and then also the trade/want ratios, edition size, etc., on PinPics to decide on what I'd be willing to pay for it. Like with all things it's pretty subjective, and also depends on how popular the theme is. Similar pins can be a good guideline too if it was part of a set or series.

I agee with Ninpin and also would say if it's available via 'Buy it Now' on eBay rather than auction you're likely going to pay too much. Dont get me wrong, there is the occassional new listing with a reasonably fair buy it now price but those are a rarity. If it has a best offer option, you should take full advantage of that option. You may not get your ideal price, but it will help you gauge how motivated the seller is.
