I'm wanting to make some shadow boxes for my pins to liven up the walls of my new house a bit! But I'm totally stuck about what to do! I know I would like them relatively small, with one film in each, as I don't have THAT many pins of each film, but I don't know whether to go with a plain background, or some background scenes from the film, or characters. I don't want to drown out the pins but I'd also like to add to them a bit. If anyone has any pics of ones they've made please post them! Or if this thread kinda exists somewhere else please direct me! Especially anything alice!! Thanks guys!

I would take a cruise thought the showroom and check out the posts there. There are alot of talented people making all sorts of pin displays and showing them off in there. I like shadow boxes that are already designed to be pinned and open from the front.

This is my stitch box. I like to keep them simple so I can change them alot. Michaela frequently has sales on shadow boxes so I get them for good deals. This is a 12x12

This is my one.... I'd suggest colouring / decorating the background to match the theme of your pins....I have chosen a cloud fabric to fit in with my pin theme UP! .....or you could print a still from a fave part in the movie, and use that.

I might have just the thing , come and check out my showroom stuff it might stir some ideas up for you, i posteded so others could see what you can do with a shadow box

Thanks guys! Charlotte yours is beautiful I was thinking something similar with a tulgey wood background! I'll be right over camera guy to have a nose! Thank you! Wooo!

I had something similar planned for my pinocchio! I googled pinocchio backgrounds and there was a lovely image of gepetto wishing on a star at the window, not much colour but lovely, with lots of wall space to put pins!

My walls are filled with paintings, there's no room for pins to be displayed except in the small office. So, no shadow boxes.
