Hi, gang!

DW and I will be attending MNSSHP on October 3rd with some friends, and I was wondering if there was any special trading happening in the park at night that I could scope out?

Do CMs still wear lanyards? Are any DPFers going to be around and want to meet up for some candy?

Also, wondering about the best/easiest place to be sure I snag a MNSSHP pin - assuming they're available into October?

Good questions, I'm going next year assuming the dates are the same from this year.
 
I went the the one at WDW last year around early/mid October, and will be there this year around the end of Sept.
Pin wise… I didn't see much trading going on. I got a lot of compliments on my villains pins and all, but not much trading went on.
The Halloween pins were at the Frontier Trading Post, but anything limited edition was long sold out and they only had the mystery boxes when I was there :/
 
I was at the MNSSHP last year in mid Sept. and got my set at the Emporium. As for the Cast Members, most have trading lanyards or pouches to trade. Also, if staying at a Disney resort, check the pin boards in the gift shop early for fresh pins!
 
We did the Sept 1st party this year,, cast did have some lanyards, a little person to person trading. Cm said the pins were broken up to so many each night, and leftover carried over but no more than were allocated to each evening would be released. Buy pins early in the night or miss out.
Pins were available at emporium but far more were at frontierland trading.
 
About 5 years ago, there seemed to be more pin trading at MNSSHP. I remember getting previous year MNSSHP pins off CM lanyards. IMHO, last couple years haven't been nearly as nice.
