Does anyone have pictures of the WDI hinged pins for the Haunted Mansion's 50th Anniversary, released at D23 2019?

If Pinpics continues to stonewall me getting in, I may have to starting re-cataloging my Halloween collection with your database. 1050+ pins......UGH!

    bumping this up again!

As a reminder, when taking pictures for the database (and your own records), please make sure to use a plain black or plain white background. Please also take the picture with enough space around the pin so that the thumbnail can be the entire pin as well.

    Thanks!

Hey Li, I submitted two pluto pins last month and nothing was ever posted. Could it be the quality of the pics? I figured anything was better than nothing

The listings on PTDB aren't reviewed by staff before posting though so once you submitted they should have showed up inmediately if you searched for it. Maybe it didn't get saved on accident?

Of course! And for pinpics, I'm not entirely sure anybody there still reviews listing submissions unless they're new releases.

Don't be a dope. Upload your pictures to PTDB! :D Of course, this is AFTER checking to see if the pin is there or not already....

    @starry_solo I believe you have a duplication of Mickey Ghost - 2186 and 25451.

How do you load your pictures??

From my computer! It doesn't work well to load from a phone.

    Just checking back in.

My PTDB Chrome extension still works! Chrome Web Store

Note that it only works in Chrome or Chrome-based browsers. (I use Vivaldi which is Chrome-based)

Who is developing the PTDB, @starry_solo ? It doesn't seem like very much has changed since I checked last. There are plenty of features I could think to add that would really help take it to the next level.

    - User-to-user compare (am I overlooking this?) and trade assistant

    - "Report duplicate" button

    - "Report scrappers" button

    - "Report error in listing" button, for things like a wrong description or wrong "from same release" pins

    - Not sure if it's a big problem yet, but perhaps even a general "Report this listing" for accounts which upload spam or sensitive images

    - Better pagination bars: Instead of 1,2,3,4...282,283 listing EVERY page, it should be the first few pages, or the few surrounding pages, then a text field where you can type a page manually. Like so:

If you're on page one: [IMG]

If you're on a page in the middle: [IMG]

    - "Pins missing images" and "Pins with low rated images" lists or filters so users can quickly find them and help with uploads. You might also want to add other filters like "Pins with missing prices" or "Pins with missing SKUs" etc.

    - The "Comment" box could be updated to something like "Does this listing need work?" or "Is this listing missing anything? Comment here:" Then you could add a filter like "Recently commented listings" so moderators can check and maybe update the listing with the provided info.

    - An API (application programming interface) so tools like my Chrome extension can work with the site natively. It would make MANY other neat features possible.

    - You should consider allowing users to input, as a data value, the corresponding PinPics pin number for pins on PTDB. AFAIK that's not copying any information coverable by copyright. Doing this would allow tools to be built that would enable PinPics users to "export" their pin lists and import them into PTDB; at least for the pins PTDB already lists. I would happily build a tool of my own, on my own website, to do the conversion, so as to dissociate it with PTDB owners/administration.

Anyway, I would be happy to help out coding any of these features!

I think the first post said @ryanfury did the database so maybe he can do this?

A note on the same release thing: it seems to group them by date released which is fine for the most part, but can make things very confusing if say, two mystery sets were released. Perhaps there's a better way to group pins?

LOL, no, you would save the picture to your computer and then load it up that way with the "add pic" option.

@GreyWyvern just downloaded your extension and it's really cool! I seem to be having trouble getting the save button to show up because after you put in a value for how many you want it asks for how badly you want it and the save button goes away. Is there something I'm missing? There doesn't seem to be any way to scroll down or make the tab bigger....

I think the "how bad do you want it" thing was added after the last time I worked on it, so it might need an update to hide that as well, or incorporate it somehow.
