HI everyone, we just came back from our cruise on the Fantasy, it was wonderful!!!! I highly recommend it. There was not a lot of pin trading on the cruise, but what they had was of better quality then the parks. One night they had pin trading with the officers which was so much fun and they were wearing good quality $10.00 rack pins on their lanyards, so I had some good trades. The only other CMs that wore lanyards where the store staff and there was two large pin trading books in the stores. We were able to finish 3 sets of the new HM. But best of all I was talking to one the CMs in the store and I told her I was looking for the completer rapunzal perfume bottle and she said let me look in the back for you and sure enough she came out with a nice fresh in the bag rapunzal perfume pin, so now my set is complete.
 
:wavey: Thanks for the report. Great to hear your experiences! Our family (and a few others on the forum) will be cruising on the Magic in a little over a month. We'll remember not to miss 'Pin Trading with the Officers' and the great tip that the gift shops may have pin books. Will report back later in July:hsd:
 
It sound quite fun! I know the Disney Cruise pins can sometimes be highly sought after since it isn't too common for people to go on the cruises considering it isn't like a short drive down to the parks :) I'm glad you had fun, I can't say I'm shocked at the lack of pin trading, but I'm happy it's at least there ^_^
 
Good to know... With the New Fantasyland my now-fiancé is interested in going to WDW, and if we're going all the way to WDW we might as well spring for the cruise too. I'm actually kind of hoping that we'll opt for that as a honeymoon and get people to put money towards that instead of gifts we don't need.
