I know I traded with the wrong person. I traded someone a POMH pin for one of their pins and I believe they have no intentions to send me a pin back. What should I do? Is there any way of finding out who this person is? How far of an investigation will happen if I complain to pinpics? Any advice?

Who is it? They probably will send the pin but maybe they are just kinda shotty at returnig emails. I've never gotten burned by not getting a pin on pin pics and I've probably traded 100 times at least.

Ok, I feel so dumb because they had no references and when i offered them my pomh pin, they had no question about what kind of film strip there was in it or anything like that. they just said, ok and sent an address. I was just wondering what the pp site would do. Do you think they would close their account, I just feel so cheated if you know what I mean. Ugh...

Check to see if they are still on PinPics. We have received trade offers from individuals without references whose user names magically "disappear" by the end of the day.

I am in the middle of a similar situation. I traded via pin pics to Hong Kong on August 31. Have my postal receipt. Trader had no references. Swears they have sent pins and should get here by October 5th! ARE THEY WALKING THEM OVER???

Typically if a Trader has No References I request that they send their pin FIRST and upon receipt I will mail my pin to them. I KINDLY explain that this is "protocol" for the hobby and that I hope they understand and that until they build up references they should expect this from all senior Traders. Usually have no problems, and if someone did balk at this arrangement I would not Trade with them at that time. IMHO

in thier defense, it does take longer from Asia and Australia. Takes longer to get there too. Not saying they're not ripping you off, just that it really could take that long.

It's that slow boat to China:) It took me almost two months to get a pin from China. It was worth the wait, but I got very nervous toward the end.

Pinpics is excellent about taking complaints seriously. Send them the required information and I guarantee they will do their best to help you out. If you don't mind me asking, what pin were you hoping to get in return for you POMH?
