Hey everyone

I've seen threads here before asking how you reply to trade requests you get and whether you reply at all. I've also seen ones about bad or lopsided requests. So I want yo ask about the great ones, good ones are alright too but I'm wondering if anyone has any requests that made them soooo happy they reacted like I did... ie they danced about the room making a squeeing noise xD

I've had a lot of the negative, poor requests or no's from pinpics but once in a while I get a good trade offer, and twice now I've had a great trade offer so I wanted to see if others have experienced this and if you have, how did you react?

If I'd had the bf here when I saw the request I'd have had him film my bad dancing but alas he wasn't around.

If any of you are curious what had me dancing, it was someone wanting my new UK Aladdin and Jasmine pin (the one I have for trade, not the one I pre-traded away before you panic!) who was offering either the Tangled Gondola pin that is a grail of mine! orrrrr a Tangled PODM!!!! Yeah.. I squeeled!

I got a trade request that was like that once. It was for one pin, that I really only had as a trader anyway (no emotional attachment), and in return they were offering to send me 3 or 4 other really great pins. It was a crazy trade and I was super excited, so much so that I could barely type my reply. So we're emailing back and forth and then they realize my feedback is fairly low, since I just started trading in April, and backed out.

So my best trade offer was immediately followed by shakiness and disbelief, and then followed up by utter disappointment. Argh!

Not a pin pics trade but I went pretty crazy at May's PTN when a collector was interested in my Jessica Easter Egg pin and handed me his book to look at stating whatever you see . I only got to the 2nd page when I saw one of my grail's Beauty And The Beast Beloved Tales . My first thought is he will never trade for this pin as I pointed to it and he said, Sure ! After he moved on I ran to my friend Judy and she did the holy grail squeal dance with me . So I do understand that excited feeling .

When I get an offer in my favor I never assume the TA matched up the pins the way the person intended. I simply respond that I'm interested in working something out and hope for the best.
