So I bought an auction on eBay with a bunch of old random pins. Some are very very old and a few are from the early 60's. Some of these have me scratching my head.

I know the Tink one is not super old, but I can't seem to find it. It has a gold waffle back and just cDisney and China. (I think China, maybe Taiwan.)

There is also a 101 Dalmations poster has a gold back, not waffle, just rough gold metal and says Disney China. I've seen other pins with the same poster, but not with the framing and "1961".

The other 5 pins seem like a set, they have the older clasp/hinge back. They represent the 5 lands of Disneyland. The backs are gold waffle but have Disney Productions, and I think Taiwan on the back. I'll have to take a pick of the back. New Orleans Square opened in 1966, so they are after that. No Main St. USA pin though. :(

See what you guys come up with, maybe you've seen them before? Sorry for the pic quality, they are mostly cropped iPhone pics.

Oooh! You scored some nice ones. The "land" pins with the straight backs were GWP pins when Disneyland was celebrating their 30th anniversary. When you went through the turnstile, you were given a random pin (I have most of that collection, love it). Also, your Tomorrowland pin was one on which they had to slightly change the design, because someone decided the rocket was too sharp, and they then released a pin with a more rounded end. The Frontierland pin was also changed (for the same reason--sharpness), you have the revised version with the circles on the end of the points of the star (they initially were just pointed).

The movie poster is one in a series of pins from the USA Disney Store when they were making and selling pins.

I'll look up the Pinpics numbers for you, and then edit my post, but I just wanted to reply since I knew what they were!

Ah...never mind, I see Judy posted the info for you first. :hsd:

What a coincidence, I just happened to have added 1187 through 1192 to my collection along with quite a few other vintage pins.

It seems my Pistol Pete pin is 1362, not 1191. Is there a relist for the Tomorrowland 1192? It appears I do not have 1192, I have the original rocket design that is pointy. EDIT: Nevermind, it is 1363! Duh.

I got some buttons in the lot too, all in all about 30 pins and 8 or so buttons. Most of the pins seem like they are pretty common, just old. Only a few seemed special. Most were cast pins or GWP type pins. I got an old WDW Mickey & Minnie button 90114. A Pocahontas pin from 1995, button# 16097 and some plastic pins of the Fab 4. The state fair '87 DLR button, and a Goofy Cutie "Partly Confused" button 61810 and a Lion King button to round it out. I'm not a big button collector so maybe someone else will want them?
