We are fairly new to pin tradin and I sent a request for a pin that represented one of the restaurants we have enjoyed at WDW. My request was not even, I knew that, and put in comments essentially that and indicated I would do what I could to obtain suitable trader or other means of making it a fair trade. The response was quite arrogant and would like to know how to NOT send any further requests to this person. Is it so hard to be nice to someone? I don't need this negativity and it is almost stopping me from any other requests.

there's no way to block a particular trader, but you can review your requests before they go out...after you've selected your trades go to My Pinpics and pick the option to view your pending trade requests...then you can erase the ones you don't want to send out

Hi, I am sorry to hear that you got such a negative response from someone, it sounds totally uncalled for.

Your question - make all your trade requests as usual, and then select "Mypinpics" on the left of the page, and then click "view your current pending trade requests". In there you will see a list of all the requests you have made, just tick the ones you do not want to send, and then click delete.

Please dont let this one rude response deter you from sending requests.

I am so sorry to hear that you've gotten a rude response. What's wrong with people!?! A simple "No thank you" is sufficient or as much as I hate not getting a response at all, no response is better than a rude one. Please do not let it deter you. There are many great traders out there. Remember this person and follow the instructions above to delete any trade requests going out to them. BTW. What pin were you looking for?

You can block their email through your email which is the only way to prevent them from sending you trade requests. If you do what everyone else says, it only prevents you from sending them requests.

Thank you for all the replies. I'll just check for specific ID before I send any out. Looking for restaurants in my sig, and others we've dined in at resorts. They are "sentimental wants" not value based for trading or anything. Thanks again for the replies.

There are a couple folks I try to avoid sending requests to. one is a guy who actually tells people the pins are a business for him... Although once he speculated the wrong way and I got the better end of the trade. lol

Just do your pinpic TR's like usual, but go to the review your trade requests after you are done and remove the annoying person from the list. You want to review the pending requests anyway because sometimes its a person who has been inactive for years.

Good luck with your search! I did the restaurant pin collection too. It was fun though I'm still looking for the Marrakesh pin.

I had a pin snob tell me he never got my pin and I sent his back to him. So I'm out a pin and shipping twice. Pretty stupid people out there ruin it for us, but life goes on.

You should put the pinpics numbers on your signature, makes it easier for other to find what you are looking for.

I'm sorry that happened to you. It's happened to me too. Some people have no curtesy, but most people are polite and just say no thank you. Don't let the few rude people take away from the loads of fun you can still have with the majority of us pin traders.
