Hello all,

Long time viewer for pins trades/buy/sells, but have not posted a lot. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I recently accepted a trade on pinpics.com and the user was "deleted until proven guilty", it was a 3v3 trade. She sent me her address and I sent her mine. I sent her the pins and she said she would send hers out. It has been over a week and she has not responded with the tracking number (which I did) or if she has even sent the pins. What should I do?

Thanks everyone.

Austin

I would give it another week or so...It's probably on it's way. Not everyone sends tracking, although I wish they would or at least tell you what day it was mailed so you can have an idea of when to expect it.

I've had a similar experience recently , I'd arranged a trade for one of my wants . I'd posted the pin he wanted to him and heard nothing more , no tracking number no further contact at all . I had messaged him and received no response but then today the pin actually arrived :) It had been held up because he wrote my postcode a bit scruffy but it made it to me eventually so don't give up hope yet !

Well since you asked and since I am the "sheriff" on pinpics (I handle the trade complaints now) go here http://www.pinpics.com/complaints.php and file a complaint. I will send you an email from the pinpics mailroom (be sure your email address is up to date please) and ask what has gone on until now. I then try to contact the other member. If I do not receive a response I suspend the other member until they resolve the issue.

I am happy to hear this!! You handling the trade complaints!!

I'll give it until next Monday (which would be two weeks) and then file a complaint. I really do not want too but if she is tricking multiple people it should be known. I hope it comes in soon! Thanks for all the help

I agree, if this person is tricking traders, she should not be able to and as Docfish said, once an investigation has been made, the account could be suspended. That being said, please do not publically accuse a trader of misconduct by posting your accusation and their trader name. It's tacky, especially since you made the trade on a different website and then come here to cry foul. Once a person has been accused of a crime --even in the pin trading world-- the stigma stays.

I wish you the best with your trade and that all works out for everyone involved. :)

Frogger- very sorry I replaced the users name until further actions happen. Thank you for your response.

Well I am happy to say I have received the pins!! My neighbor (just moved in recently) actually had them and brought the package over tonight as she was going through her mail after being out of town..that's why they were delayed. But the pinpics user has still not responded since the deal was finalized. I am somewhat new to trading, but will always be giving tracking information to anyone who I trade with. Thank you all for your help!

Happy trading!
