Hello all! I will be going to Disney World early next month and was wondering if anyone knew what hidden mickey collections to look out for? And this might be a rookie question but, what is the difference in cast pins and hidden mickey pins? I remember in the early 2000's everyone called them cast lanyard pins.
I went on disneypins.com to find out the limited editions that will be released during that time but I was wondering what cast pins / hidden mickeys to keep an eye out for. Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks :D

Like you said, Cast Lanyard pins have become Hidden Mickey pins. Cast pins, if I'm right, are cast member exclusive pins, only available for purchase by CMs. (If I'm wrong on this point, someone please correct me)

As for what you should keep an eye out for: that's dependent on what you want for your collection.
For example, there's a patriotic HM set that was released in July featuring Jessica, Russell, Mickey, Figment, and Chip. Or if Park-themed pins (like AK, HS, etc)are more your style, there was also a set with pictures of characters cut into the shapes of each park's icon (i.e. Figment on Spaceship Earth)

And there are sooooo many other HM/CL sets out there from previous releases (both sets I've mentioned were released this summer), the choices are almost endless!

I thought that was correct but wasn't sure. I have several cast pins from early 2000's but I think now they've went to hidden mickey pins. I'm assuming, but I haven't traded in several years so I'm not up to date. Thanks ThisIsSimba1! Good information.
