As I am going through the catalog I am again surprised at the LE size(s) for the Event, mostly from a Trading point of view. I have mentioned in the past that East Coast Traders have very few options when trying to match up LE's for DSSH/DLP/WDI pins.

Other than than "Boxed Pin Sets" for the Event. I don't believe anything comes close to the low end LE's for individual pins, again. Wish that they would go back to low LE's for individual pins for the Event instead of bulking up the number for the amount of attendees, IMHO.

Well, sorry to say - "we" have gotten what we asked for!! Back in the day (2008 and earlier) there WAS a variety of low LE pins at the Events but, Disney got "stuck" with the unpopular ones and everyone COMPLAINED (you know who you "whiny" ones are) that they couldn't get the popular ones on their RSP since the edition size was so low!!!

Disney has been cutting their losses ever since by offering less & less pins and have tried to silence the "complainers" to boot. Just my "2 cents"

From a West Coast pin collector's POV, what is the incentive to travel to Orlando during the hot, humid months of August-September and pay high season airline / hotel / rental car fees as well as event registration fees with little or no hope of buying the low LE event pins? :( The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party LE pins are a great examples. You have to attend the very first night in early November to have any hope of getting the full set of LE MVMCP pins! By mid December, most LE Christmas pins are sold out and the reminder is at clearance prices.

As far as WDI pins, there was only one 2015 WDI public (surprise at a D23 event) sale in LA basin, while there were several 2015 popup WDI/MoG store events in Orlando. In 2016, there has been only one public sale at MoG in LA and two public sales scheduled in Orlando. FYI - WDI / DEC / DSSH no longer have popup stores at the Disneyana Fan Club Shows/Sales. For WDI pins, the advantage currently goes to Florida.
