I recently got this pin below and I think it is PP 1718. However, PP has no info about the back of this pin.

Does anyone here by any chance have this ?? Just to confirm the back says the same thing ??

Thanks for looking and any potential help :)

Wow, neat pin! Sorry I can't help with info, but wanted to say that's a cool one! :bigthumb:

It appears you have the correct pin number. Did you measure it to see if that matches? There are dimensions on the pp page

pin number is correct, had one for a bit early in my trade childhood. The back looked just like this. They dont make fakes of this pin, its to old. Many of these older cast pins had the same exact backstamp.

Are you worried about it being made in Taiwan? Many older pins were made there, then for a tiny bit of time Korea, and finally almost all are now made in China :3

I also had that pin, the back is correct. It came out in 1995, the same time as pin Pin 11476: DLR CM 1955 Replica Name Tag 1995 Edition.

Thank you everyone for chiming in. I will list this pin as a trader and want to be accurate. There are 4 similar pins on Pinpics and I think 3 are made in China.

My pin's dimensions match 1718, but 1718 does not give any info about the back of the Pin, that is why I was trying to make sure about its origin. I found few completed sales and one new listing on Ebay but those do not mention anything about the pin's back either.

Sosai x: Thank you for giving me the timeline also, the person I bought it from mentioned also 1995, but that too is not listed on Pinpics. I am happy to have an older pin :)

Hey Judy, should I auction it ?? JK ....

In all honesty, I do not know what it is worth in $$ or in equivalent pins. There is one auction on Ebay, I will watch that to see how this goes.

I have a small wants list, mostly girly stuff.
