Hi, everyone! Sorry if this is the wrong place but I'm in need of help! I bought some pins from a kind member doing pick ups here, and now they are missing. They were marked delivered in mailbox but I did not get a package. This is the second time this has happened to me in less than a month but the first time I've had pins go missing. I've never had a missing package ever before this. How can I stop this from happening? I can't afford to re-buy my Finding Dory opening day and haunted mansion tsum pins now because my washing machine has broken down and will need repairs or replaced. I'm sick over this and just heart broken. Things have been really hard for me lately and I was really looking forward to some pin mail to cheer me up. Anyone have any advice for locating my missing packages? I've ordered so much stuff over the years and not once had a missing package and now 2 in one month. I'm just devastated. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks for listening.

First stop is your local post office. Let them know that the pins were marked as delivered but you did not actually receive them. No guarantees on what they will do (maybe nothing, unfortunately), but you have to try. They could have been misdelivered and if an honest person got the parcel by mistake, he/she may put it back in the mail and you could still get it. You also want your PO to know that you've been having problems. Sometimes if there's a sub or a new person on a route, mistakes happen. You definitely want them to be aware so you can hopefully prevent future issues. My PO is really helpful, but it does depend on the individual employees whether they give a fig or not. My last word of advice is to be SUPER NICE to the person you are speaking to. You can be firm and let them know you're upset, but the person you talk to is a) probably not the one who made the mistake and b) likely getting yelled at left and right by everyone else. I get way better service from my PO because I am respectful to them. You can tell it's a change from what they're used to so they are more inclined to help me as a result. Good luck. Losing mail, especially good mail, is a total bummer.

I was extremely nice the first 4 times I went after the first missing package. I haven't been back since. I just gave up when eBay gave my money back. But this is different. I won't be able to go in person until I get off night shift unless I decide to skip sleep for that day.

Anyone know how PayPal handles this type of thing? I know for sure the person I bought from is legit because I've never had issues before. But it shows delivered. Will PayPal help me out at all?

I'd also advise letting PO know. We have alot of problems locally with packages and mail being stolen from boxes or front porches. It is a crime and if the people are caught the PO will prosecute. Good luck to you.

Luckily my missing pins were found today! I was first in line at the post office, was very polite until the guy basically told me I was crazy, then demanded to speak to the post master. My pins were found at an apartment complex across town and delivered to me. My other package, however, is still missing.
