Okay I will be getting (hopefully) some Little Mermaid PoDMs when they are released. I have never owned one. What is the best way to see the scenes when I do have them? I remember someone here saying they accidentally kind of "ruined" a scene because they put it too close to heat/light?? I could be getting the details wrong, but I would appreciate tips for taking pictures of the scenes or just looking at them without ruining them. Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

I'm certainly no expert on them, since I only started with the Tangled PODM pins, but just use normal common-sense caution with them. Hold them up to a computer screen with a white background (like a blank MS Word document) or next to a big lamp shade to avoid the heat issue. As for pics, I used my computer screen with the card backing & pin leaning against it with a blank white MS Word document on the screen behind the pin scene. Then I just used my camera on "Auto" mode with no flash and took the pics with a very steady hand to avoid blurry pics. With my digital camera, the image has to focus on the camera's LED screen before I press the button to take the pic and then I have to hold your camera still until it's done processing the pic (cameras and their techniques will vary depending on the model and the maker).
 
At the park, the best way is to hold it up in the direction of a light source: sun, lighting fixture, etc. For photographing, I open a blank document in word, and then lean it up in front of the monitor. The screen isn't hot enough to ruin a cel. I think the person who ruined the cell had a flashlight directly behind it. Don't' hold it close to a lightbulb, like from a desk light or something like that.
 
I saw some sharks at DLR that had a binder with a white piece of paper. As soon as they bought the pin they held it up with the white paper behind and the paper lit by sunlight to snap a pick and post on eBay right away.
