PODM Question

I was looking on ebay and found a lot of scenes from movies that I have seen elsewhere too. So here is what I am thinking

1. They take a 10 second major scene from the movie and cut it up. So you will have VERY similar scenes but none are identical

2. Somehow in this twisted world someone figured out how to scrap these pins



#2 is sooooo far out of this world that I am not even considering it but just wanted to get others thoughts

It's #1. Especially for last year's scenes. Because of the film making process each frame is repeated twice, so there are actually 2 that are identical. And the whole run is about 1 min 30 sec worth of movie. For this year's since they are pulling from multiple scenes to make sure they are all good, who knows how much time is given for each scene. But there should still be 2 identical frames.

Year one and year two were done differently.

For year one they selected a scene of approximately 1 1/2 - 2 minutes and every cell in that span became a pin. Depending on the film, there are approximately 24 frames per second. So, in very slow moving parts of the clip there would be some identical pins because some cels are reused within the second. This is also why there are some really horrible cels.

For year two they have been much more selective on the cels they used. They are picking good scenes throughout the movie and only using the decent cels, but there too, you could have some that are extremely similar or identical.

That is exactly the thought process I was having but before I start bidding I wanted to get some input! THANKS!!!!

The scene I was looking at was a 101 scene where one of the puppies is on pongos head...thanks again!!
