Hi! I wanted to know what the general value of a PODM pin is, especially regarding the Beauty and the Beast and Tangled pins. I wasn't a part of the whole craze this year, so I'm unsure what would be considered a fair trade for one of them. And from what I've gathered, do the scenes in the film strip affect the value too?

Thanks!

The value is essentially determined by the film cell. Yes, the pin itself holds a certain value because some of the older ones are harder to come by, but the difference between a $60 tangled pin & the $350 tangled pin is just the scene. As far as a general price, thats a different matter. Prices range all over the place, again depending on the scene. You could spend anywhere from $30 to $350. I use ebay auctions (not BIN) to get a rough idea of what the going price is, but outside of that there is not really a fixed rate because one scene could be a persons grail and worth a ton to them, while it may be just a trader to another person. The great thing about these is that the value is truly in the eye of the beholder.
