Just thought I'd make this to see what other people thought. PODM pins used to only show one scene. Yes, it was 2000 cells of that one scene, but it was still only one scene. I want to know if you prefered it when there was only one scene to pick cells from? I know people still got multiples even when it was only one scene, but that didn't really make much sense to me. Now that there's multiple scenes to choose from, it still doesn't make THAT much sense to me that people would need more than one of the same character, but it does make more sense than it did with the single scene PODMs.

Lol, I should add that I prefered it when it was only one scene, as the multiple scenes with Mufasa and Scar in the Lion King really tempted me!

I prefer the multiple scenes
I think that even though it makes it tempting and more expensive, it means that each pin is actually QUITE different. It means that we can see several parts of the movie (like for Beauty and the Beast - maybe we'll get some with the Beast and some with the Prince etc?) and yeah. It's just fun, even if they're all so out of reach for me

I prefer multiple scenes. I might actually have collected an Alice in Wonderland pin if they had ones with Cheshire Cat or Dinah. Likewise, I would have collected a Lady and the Tramp pin if they had ones with Si and Am. Since they didn't, I don't own (or want) those pins.

Lol, what you see as a positive, I see as a negative. If there's a Gaston scene in the BATB pin, I might want it. If there would've been a Cheshire scene in the Alice pin, I would've wanted that. I don't want to want these pins, if that makes sense. Because of how their popularity has been pushed through the roof, if there was more of them that I wanted, it would just be more pins that I have no chance of getting.

I love the multiple scenes. It adds a nice variety and makes trading more interesting. Its also cool to be able to have different parts of your fave Disney movies. Also, this way we we weren't limited to parts of one scene that had no characters in them, or shots of their butts or something XD

At first I voted "one scene" because as stated earlier, it sucks when the one you happen to want is extremely rare and perhaps the store you went to just didn't get any of that one scene, so it almost becomes a game of luck at the beginning, and I'm not a fan of leaving things up to chance. However, I do like variety so I also like how there are a lot of scenes, I'm kind of torn on the matter in all honesty.

You dont like the butt frames??? come on!!! they rock! I think theres even a person here on DPF who is collecting them!

I prefer multiple scenes - my wallet does not . . . lol . . .
Lol, that's probably how a lot of people feel about the multiple scenes.

And like Kupo said, even being there for the launch doesn't guarantee that you'll get the scene that you want, which is a bit of a shame.

I love the multiple scenes but I really wish the distribution of the shots were more even. Say with Mulan, there were about 300 of just her FACE. Like super close up. Albeit beautiful, but really? 300 of her standing, walking or singing by the statue would've been nicer. I think there's relativly 10 of the scene with her in marriage grab with Khan, 4-5 known as the kicking scene, and a few other really 'rare' ones.

Now I don't mind having rare scenes mixed in. BUT the certain scenes they use for them I feel is really dumb.

Like Timon and Pumbaa grub scene for the Lion King? It has like....well, not enough scenes when that was a HUGE part of the movie. The Scar scene I can accept as a rare scene, but really, you made 400 scenes of just Simba's face or even worse the BACK of his head?! REALLY.

Mad mad mad.

It's really a two sided coin for me. If the shot choices for the set were from one 'scene' it should be one with a lot of diversity.

Using Lion King again, I think if they did a single shot set they could've used the entire Hakuna Mattata sequence because you get multiple characters, lots of full body shots, AND the Rare scenes could've been the shots of Simba growing up on the log like they originally showed in the Pin. THEN they could throw in 10 of random scenes for other rare ones. like 1500 HM, then 100 of the opening, 100 IJCWTBK, 25 Be Prepared, 25 elephant graveyard, 50 CYFTLT, 50 Fight Scene with Fire, 50 King of Pride Rock, then say 10 of smaller important scenes like Finding Simba in the desert, the Monkey's uncle scene, hunting lesson, bathing scene, Ghost Mufasa.

Of course that would probably kill PoDM collectors...but whatevs xD
