I'm just curious as to how long people wait with pins on hold before trying to trade them again? I have a few pins on hold, either because we're supposed to be working out a multi-trade or because the other person is choosing an extra pin to make the trade even and I never know how long to wait afterwards. Do you send a reminder email? Or if you haven't heard back in the next day or so do you just move on and not tell them you've given up?

Hi Pam
Do not worry about mine, mine are wrapped up and ready to ship when you say its time!!so mine are still here for you!I wait 24 hours and if NO answer I move on,what bugs me is
I get the same request from the same person for the trade I am holding the pins for,I got one this morning and told them I accepted it yesterday from them in a reply
that drives me nuttso!!Judy

I would send message and ask them to make a decision would not wait more than one week to do a trade or if they have not gotten back to you then the trade did not work out
I have had that happen but only you can be the judge to do what you want
Good luck

You're not one of them Judy! It's various other people who I thought I'd had good correspondence with ... then nothing!

If you've been in active talks to make a trade I would send an email asking if they still want to trade, then I'd wait at least a few days, since there are many legitimate reasons why someone might delay in responding. How long I wait after that would depend on how much I want the trade. If it's been a while, you could send an email politely saying that you assume they longer want to trade and to please contact you a.s.a.p. or within x days if they do still want to trade.

Thanks everyone. It's amazing that with some of them I actually offered them more pins and they just had to make their minds up what they wanted. Some trades I wasn't too bothered about so I'll just let them slide I think. Obviously I have to allow for people having a life as well
