I always like to check the Dizpin Trade References for a trader before completing a Pinpic trade whom I haven't traded with in the past. It's always reassuring when you see a number of recent completed trades. I always leave a Reference the same day or night the pin arrives and follow up with an email letting the trader know I have it and have posted. I have made 5 wonderful trades in 2012, and have received just ONE reference back so far. Percentages were around 50-75 percent in prior years. A spotty reference list could potentially deter someone from completing a possible trade with you. I'd like to know how everyone else feels about this subject.

Well if you know the emails who you traded with, you could kindly email them asking"if the trade was OK?"and if so I am just reminding you I left a ref for you
send the link to their refs with your email there and kindly ask if they can return the favor..sometimes life gets in the way and a friendly reminder helps, thats what I do

Mike, I agree with you 100%.
I too wish people would ALWAYS remember to post feedback.
It takes very little effort & it is the right thing to do.
We all appreciate feedback & I know that I personally try to always check references before agreeing to a trade.
We just all need to make the extra effort. Simple.

I am one of those who forget to leave reference on Dizpins! But I am never offended by a friendly reminder. :)

I always try to leave a reference before I add the pin to my owns list. Recently I got an E-mail from someone I traded with asking about the reference. I was sure I had left one, but didn't see it on her list. I checked the references I'd left and found that I'd typoed it, so she never got it.
I also have some references for me with that no one will see because they spelled Roxane with 2 ns in the E-mail address. :)
