To be very honest, I can not take credit for any of this, because I remember that Erica (erudolf) posted this whole thing here on DPF a while back , so the real credit shoud go to her for sharing this.

I use Windows Vista and IE8. The steps below work for me, but I am not sure if it will work for others.

1. In one tab/window get the Pinpics Thumbnails:

2. Right click on the thumbnail (or a series of thumbnails) and choose on Copy. Click on the tab with your DPF post in it and paste it where you want it.

You will see something like this with boxes and x-marks - don't despair

3a. Click on the A/A toggle (circled in red)on the upper left corner to swtich the editor from WYSIWYG to Source Code

3b. and now your screen will have long text like this:

4.
The tedious and boring part here is to replace every "disneypinforum" in there with "gallery.pinpics".

I do this (delete disneypinforum and type in gallery.pinpics) manually if I have only 1 or 2 thumbnails to replace. But if it is several thumbnails, then I mouse-copy the source code for multiple icons into Wordpad and use Search & Replace function from Edit menu to change from "disneypinforum" to "gallery.pinpics". Then I mouse-copy the updated source code back into the text window here on DPF.

5. Yay, we came to the last step. Click te A/A icon again to switch from source code to WYSIWYG

and if you have done everything right, you should have your thumbnail.

I know that it is very long, but once you do it a few times, you will see that it comes handy for sales threads, signatures for most wanted pins, etc.

I hope this helps. Please keep in mind that I am no expert, so I won't be able to answer questions for other browsers and OS.

there's also the

[pinpics] and [ /pinpics] tags we have here. It's not the prettiest, but a hover over the link brings up a small thumbnail and links directly to the pinpics page!
