Hello all,
Correct me if I am wrong, but I though the PTD pins didn't come on cards ? I noticed a few popping up on certain site today with what look like cards that say DSF and PTD on them. The posting itself makes no mention of the item coming on a card, but the pics show what looks like a DSF card. Should we be concerned?
 
I know most of the PTDs I use as traders I put on some type of card if possible, just for protection, etc, but I never tell anyone it came on a card.
 
I've been picking up PTDs for the past year and they've all come in a small plastic bag, not on a card, but I'm not sure bout earlier ones. Hope this helps.
 
Some ptds that were used were supposed ti be surprise pins that they were forced to use because they ran out. Some of the ones with hollywood stars are in this category.
 
And some people were making up very cool cards to put the pins on ... made it easier to trade and to mail. One of my dear pin buddies did this and the cards are really nice ... they have Disney Soda Fountain on them. Maybe someone did the same thing or traded with Dan to get the pins?? A quick check of the back of the pins should help you decide if the pins are legitimate or not.
 
Some people make their own cards, they resemble the signs DSF used to post on their FB page when a new PTD comes out (they do that anymore since word spreads fast) but most PTDs do not come on card, so I don't mind my PTDs being card-less (I don't mind any pin being card-less then again EXCEPT my KH cards...they need cards).
 
The PTD's don't come on cards. There have been some in the past that were on cards and used as PTD's when they ran out but that is the exception. They come in little plastic bags.
 
Ok - good to know. It never hurts to check. It just seemed weird they were popping up all of sudden and from more than 1 person.
