There's a pin on my wants list that I'd like to get soon but there's something I'd like to know/need clarification on.

The pin is [PINPICS]58007[/PINPICS]

I noticed that in the PinPics picture the hidden Mickey seems "smaller" and there seems to be metal between the whiskers.

The image on the ODPT site shows no metal and a "larger" HM head.

I've noticed on the bay that this pin is being sold with either of the above "features." Is one a potential scrapper? (I know HM pins tend to be victim to being scrappers.) Is it possible the person who put it on PinPics got a scrapper and put it up thinking it was real?

Anyone who owns this pin mind sharing a photo of the backstamp as well?

Any help appreciated. (:

I was told this pin was first released during October 2007 and then re-released at the start of the new year, and so may have a 2008 backstamp. Can anyone verify this? Thank you. (:

any pic yet??? in the past on sum HM fakes the mickey head is a diffrent size and if u look close the out line on the head is kind of soft or blurry.. Also i have seen a few pins that had the cut outs messed up. so that could also b a way to tell the fake also. as with all the pins... i think the way to judge has to b a list of things. Dont just look for one thing wrong.( that could slip by disney and b real) look for a few things wrong...no matter how good the fake...seems they always have a few things wrong with them. so with that said its not easy to say about this pin unless we get more info and sum good pics.

Hey Kory!

I got a photo of the pin but it was blurry, I think it said 2008 on the back. I ordered a pin from a seller who told me it was released during October 2007 and re-released at the start of the new year, and that's why the 2 pins had differences. They said they've made hundreds of entries to PinPics as well as corrections to entries on the site. I've seen this pin is varying quality. The other day I saw one where the paint one foot was missing. (It didn't even have the outline.)

And yeah, I do luck for more than one thing wrong with a pin before I decide to buy one (or think about buying one later.)
