Okay, so the other day in Walt Disney World I bought a Jiminy Cricket pin and the only thing on the back of the pin is "Disney China". All my other pins say "Official Pin Trading" with the year. Did I get some kind of fake pin? Or is it a good thing that it does not say that. I am very new to this stuff, I just started my collection on Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope you can help!:p

Thanks!

I would think if you bought it at WDW you should be fine..... I was just looking through my pins which date back to 2000 and there are differences over time.

It might have been a pin not made specifically for Disney Parks. Only Disney Parks pins have the pin trading logo although I think Disney Store pins had them. I have some Disney theatrical and Movie Rewards pins that are not stamped but they are still considered tradeable by Disney as long as the Disney copyright is on them. I collect Disney sports pins that are usually only sold at stadiums and arenas. They will have a character dressed in various sports uniforms. These pins never have the pin trading logo. Once in awhile Disneyland will get a few so it isn't unheard of for non stamped pins to be sold in the parks.

I know some older pins have a similar stamp. But if you actually bought it from WDW it should be fine anyhow.

I know which one you are talking about. I've seen the pin in two different colors. One is like neon green and the other is like a dark forest green of his skin. But the one I have also just says disney china. It doesn't have any logo either
