Question about a pin

Hi all, first post here. I own a pin like the one seen below. Its got the disney stamp and says it was made in 2002(i think). I know we bought it in the park, but it doesnt have the normal mickey ears, it has a plain rubber backing. On ebay, there are 2 auctions showing the same rubber backing. Is this normal?

There's no picture to look at, but often pins will get separated from their original mickey head backings. I have pins with black non-ear backings, yellow star backings, metal backings, etc. This in and of itself isn't anything to worry about

well, i wouldnt have had anything to replace it with myself, but we may have traded it or something, i cant recall. I was moreso curious if older pins were ever released with this style of backing. and i added the link i forgot to add before lol
