Hi I understand I'm not allowed to put links up to auctions on here but I was wondering if I'm allowed to post the picture from the auction? I'm interested in buying the pin (Pin 68489: DLR - Disney/Pixar CARS - Mystery Tin Collection - Luigi Only) but the wheels don't look the right colour. They look more brown than the black they do on pinpics. There is a mention of scapper pins on pinpics which has made me slightly weary. I was always taught from collecting other things if I'm unsure then leave it but I'd like some help if I can put the pic up!

Thanks

Hi
You cannot add a link to the auction..you could save the pic and add it to a photosharing sight and then post it..but NO auction links
and no ID from the seller on the picture...

I would say if you don't feel right about it don't buy the pin. Sometimes sellers claim to not know that pins are scrappers.
In the end, it's your choice, but I wouldn't do it. It's a bit risky. Those are the kind of pins that would should try and get in person so you can take a closer look at the pin.

ask the seller to send you a picture of the back of the pin. If I remember correctly, the backs of those had a border so if it is a fake it would be easy to spot.

Hi thanks for your suggestions I may do that, although the auction is up in a couple of days but better to be safe than sorry. Here is the image (sorry wanted to double check I wasn't breaking any forum rules first!)

I asked for the back of the pin and they said they'd send a pic but haven't. I've since got the pin from somewhere I have more confidence in and it comes with the tin so yay:)

They put the picture of the back up finally, looks like I may have had a lucky escape, can someone confirm? Only from what I've learnt by looking around on here but the border looks wrong
