So I have a couple AP pins and was wondering if Artist Proofs were made for limited edition disney shopping, disney auction or disney store pins?
So far I only see Artist Proofs of park sold pins

But would you guys say they are part of the limited edition numbers or extras?

They are extra. DSF gets 6 extra of every pin they release. They do not stamp theirs AP instead they kept them for major production quality escapes and would replace one of the public pins with one of theirs. Lately they have been putting those pins on boards at trading events. I think some have had AP and some don't. Depends.

But the AP & PP are above/beyond the public addition size.

Many people value AP/PP differently. Some put a huge premium (typically seems those that pay to go to events and get them off a board value them higher.) Some consider AP just "Another Pin." I maybe add 5% value to it, like it's interesting, but probably means that the person got it for a hidden mickey at an event or had some connection that got it. Unless the PP is different or never released, I don't think they are all that amazing. But then I don't pay money to go to events.
