I've never really been to a pin release at Disneyland. I live in Southern California and I have a Premium Annual Pass. I do collect Pins I find when I do visit every month, but I'm not a Die Hard fan of pins where I will go out of my way and go to Disneyland for a pin that is releasing. I was wondering what stores would I go to, to find the pins that are released the day of? I know the main stores are The Little Green Men Store Command store, the Downtown Disney Pin Store, and the Westward Ho Trading Company. Which store would have the pins? I am really interested in going on 11/10 because I want the Wall-E 11-11-11 pin, the Chip and Dale Artist Sketch Series Pin, and the Lady and the Tramp Piece of Disney Movies Pin.

Pin Runs to DLR

If I am doing a pin run to DLR, I will arrive around 10 am and park in the Downtown Disney lot behind the Rainforest Cafe building. If the pin is available at the Pin Traders kiosk, then I just buy the pins and leave. Otherwise, I take the monorail into Tomorrowland and pick up the pins at the Little Green Men store. Then, either ride the monorail back or walk back through DTD. If I want DCA pins, then I wait until 11 am and use the Grand Californian entrance, since the DCA pins are usually at Embracadero Gifts across from the Little Mermaid ride.

Some pins require you to sign up ahead of time. Those ones you come early, get a wristband, then you get to walk through a tunnel and come up into Little Green Meen store from a side door. A cool experience your first time.

Yes, we like to call that the Black Dungeon and boy is it COLD in the winter! But it's worth getting the pins you want! I lined up several times in there for the 2009 Haunted Mansion O-pin House releases!

Hey guys its a pin release not a pin event. And these pins probably wont sell out in the first day so no need to stress. :0) Also remember the pin is being released thursday 11-10-11 :0)

You will not need to get there early for any of these pins. The only reason why you may want to on the Lady and the Tramp pin, is to run around trying to find a good scene.
