No you can't. You must be logged in just like you're mail. The PM option is only available when you are logged in under your personal ID. You can't sent an "email" from you, unless its you (example - aol, yahoo, ect. ).
Now, I have received an "email" from a personal friend but in the details it's spam using her address book to wide send ads.
If your getting PM's that are not members or from someone who is not the correct person, contact a moderator now. There may be a loophole and the site may be spammed with generic/specific PM's?
