I am not sure why my original post did not show up, but my question is, is there a way to find out the value of a pin that is rarely if ever sold? Like the pins in my signature, I cannot find any record of them ever being sold, and if they are sold is there any more information to go off of rather than intrinsic value? Thanks

I dont' see a signature for you. I was able to read only the first few words of your post by hovering over the title in the main forum list. However, for older pins, often someone on here has seen one sell or knows what it is comparable to and can judge it's value based on pins it is equal to.

You siggy is not showing. haha. I am sure it will show up soon.

It is very difficult to find a dollar value on a pin that has not sold in recent history. You can approximate based on trade vs wants and edition size... comparing them to similar pins of the same characters.

The best thing to do, is to do a post like this, listing the pins you have questions about and see what kind of response you get. Since your siggy is not yet visible, I cannot be of any help. Pinpic #'s is a good start. :)

Did a little research for you and found this results.
I base the rarity on the wants/trades ratio of the pin.

Epcot Center Pin
http://gallery.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=28008&sid=4887.1354673867.v2
My opinion: Very rare, and nice old pin that is hard to find.

Nestle Pin
http://gallery.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=49336&sid=4936.1354674098.v2
My opinion: Reasonably rare, I would suggest that you wouldn't be able to find this pin easily.

Dole Pin
http://gallery.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=28127&sid=4973.1354674260.v2
My opinion: Common but unusual to find

American Egg House
http://gallery.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=9129&sid=5003.1354674405.v2
My opinion: Very hard to find, and very old. Cast member only pin (which usually "ups" the rarity a little bit but does not make the pin impossible for a non-cast member to obtain)

Could not find the others, but based on these pins...I would assume that they would be rare also.
Hoped that helped!

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I am a fan of unique pins mainly cast member only, and "not meant for sale" pins, which you can imagine how difficult they are to find.
