My husband and I are going to Disneyland this Tuesday and I really want to get my hands on some good pins preferably some Hidden Mickeys. Does anybody know if the Ariels Undersea Band is being scrapped yet? Or any of the 2013 hidden mickey pins?

Don't know about the undersea band but the oval boardwalk performers are being scrapped. I traded for two of a CM's lanyard. Good luck on your trades. Have fun

I know some of the hidden mickeys have been scrappered already. I got a duffy bear pinochio hat at Epcot. It had a boarder on one side and rotten paint job.

Was just looking at some of these on pinpics last night, and it seems like the Epcot HM's have been infiltrated already
Was Hoping to trade for some in a few weeks as well...

Some of the new 2013 HM have been faked...Duffy Peter Pan, most of the sweet set, Pinocchio, Tigger, Tink. They are pretty easy to spot. Poor quality and border on the back.

How are the CM's when it comes to touching the pins before the trade being official? Is it okay for them to remove from lanyards, see that they're FAKES, and not trade?

Edit: Trying to appease the peeves and use the proper terminology...

the general rule is to just be picky. There will be counterfeits out there, but if you look the pin over for paint dips, and splotches, or bad backstamps you can weeds out the obvious bad ones.
