Room For One More -- Haunted Mansion Merch
I wouldn't mind some of those pins...anyone going??

disUSCney, I totally agree with you! This event doesn't even come close to the wonderful 40th event and merchandise at DLR in Sept. 2009!! I have sooo many lifelong memories of meeting fellow Doombuggies.com fans and getting to buy some of that cool HM merchandise! I had so much fun, I didn't even mind waiting almost 4 hrs in one of the Grand Calif. ballrooms to pick up my RSP items I ordered and ponder the event store located in another ballroom! I just chatted away with other "Doombugs"! If some of the WDW items make their way to DLR's shops, I wouldn't mind picking up the Jim Shore Organist, and the Caretaker w/dog though.

Looks like we have Disney running scared! HAHAHAHAHA! For them to put up more merchandise literally a day after the event was announced is unheard of! Please "sneak peek" is corporate speak for "OH CRAP! We're overcharging, and undervaluing the guests. Better give em more to look at so we look better!"

Keep it up, next we know they'll lower the price!

@GuyGhoul, I know exactly what you mean! Meeting and chatting for those long hours in line was nice, and I didn't mind a bit of it. Just being there was nice enough. I can't see that happening at all for WDW.

Hey Everyone,

If anyone is interested, I would be willing to pay for half of someone's ticket, and maybe more if I like the "Dearly Departed Gift" and you do not want it, if they could put the merchandise I am wanting on their RSP. PM me if you are interested or want more info.

Thanks!!!

Like I said earlier in this thread cut Disney some slack because the "events" usually get "better' as time moves on. More to come I would think.

Ooooh, I like the box set. Now, what are pins in that box and what aren't? Lol. I think I can see 5, is that right?

Rachel, I sent you a pm. If anyone else is interested in sponsoring my husband, please send me a pm. We would be happy to help someone out with all of the gifts and merchandise.

Looks like there are 6, I think there's one of the three ghosts as well.

Those mystery pins look pretty sweet. $285 for an event seems pretty nuts, though. Hopefully the Mystery Boxes are all over the park ASAP.

Yes, it didn't cost that much to register for the 3 day Florida Project and they have a ton of pins. I think they just want to make a ton of money off a few wealthy patrons.

There's too much "junk" and not enough pins, lol....seems like there are more vinyls than pins for this event

Well they sure are "trying". It looks as if they got the hint and realized the event was looking very poor. But now they're just trying a little too much...go check out the last few pages of merch that are all OE and have nothing to do with the Mansion. I like they added a lot of new merch to the catalog...a week after Registration closed, though. Still not worth my time and effort of going but at least its better than it looked. There's still no "event" to it and that's just awful. No "In the Park" portion, just sitting around a hotel...lovely.

I'll be in WDW at the end of September and I had found out about the merch because Constance sent me the link.

The sad thing is that I did not know that it was a ticketed event I was hoping to get some pins, not it looks like it won't work out.

I would have enjoyed going if I could since I've always wanted to go to a Haunted Mansion event. I also like some of the newer pins shown. That said, it is odd to have it at the Contemporary rather than at the attraction, but who knows what surprises they may have in store. It is too bad they couldn't have it in the interactive queue area, but I guess that would be way too small.

Yeah, it's kinda weird that they added a bunch of non-Mansion items. Anyone notice that the Haunted Mansion box looks like DL's mansion and NOT WDW's Mansion? Maybe they'll have that here(at DLR)? I would love to be able to get the t-shirt? $37 something is kinda spendy, but... Anyone want to add an XL(mens) for me please?

Thanks,

Aprille
