Will my pins rust at some point?Do you have any old rusted pins? Will the brite colors fade?

over the years some pins were made with poorer quality materials which has caused them to age poorly- so even perfect storage n care wont stop their decline.. keep them organized, dry and loved is all you can do- ive had pins go brittle and paint chip next to ones that havent that have been kept nect to each other for years so its not their care..

Also watch the material you store them on. Last year, I bought a CM Animal Kingdom set in its original box. The pins came pressed into a chunk of grey foam material. But after 16 years, it has started to disintegrate and so the butterfly pin backs are rusted, and the back of the pins don't look too great either.

And if you have an old pin, with the domed epoxy and the pin is supposed to be white, but it looks yellowish. That's expected.
